Today, we have two such characters who have literally traversed the universe and all its dangers just for a good scrap.
Deoxys, the DNA Pokemon, the mode changing psychic mutant virus with an affinity for rocks, be they triangle shaped or meteors.
Lord Boros, the Dominator of the Universe, leader of Dark Matter Pirates and possibly the most iconic One Punch Man villain, give or take a Garou, and one of the few to “””force””” Saitama to use his Serious Series.
